Yea, interesting. Thanks for sharing. I don't know anything about the tech but might be yet another big mechanical reason to opt for the Z51. Maybe?

Good read, thanks. The mention of a "drum in hat" composite rotor was interesting, I was expecting the C7's electronic parking brake to act on the calipers.

I'm sure they will but will the CF brakes found on the C6Z and ZR1 make their way onto the C7?

Kickass. I was thinking 2 piece rotors would only show up in the z06, great to see them on the z51!!!!!!!!!!!!

May be difficult to happen if the parking brake uses hub surface.

Fwiw I believe the z51, MRC and NPP exhaust would essential in the ordering process for me as the time comes to purchase.

If I were not ordering too early I would also opt for the competition seats.

Other than deciding what color and which transmission all other options would be at a lower level of importance.

Sounds like it could be expensive to replace. Especially for HPDE guys.

Honest and brake technology-ignorant question here. Is that an optical illusion or is the outside face of this rotor larger than the inside face? If so, is that noteworthy for any reason?

Thanks...

What happened to the Brembo dual cast (iron rotor/aluminum hat) rotors?
