When are you buying your C7?

Maybe, maybe not. I tend to be a cash buyer myself. But when I bought my last BMW, first I negotiated the price of the car with no financing. When it came time to pick up the car, they had a 0.9% financing plan for the entire price of the car that was available. That's not zero, but in my mind 0.9% was a still a no brainer. On a $43,000 car the financing cost ~$790 total for a 4 year loan. Paying cash just didn't make sense. So like I said, it depends on the terms that are available at the time.

Hey Bill, I don't have to justify anything. Cash is not always the best way or smart way to pay for a new car. Period.

But does not change my point that discounts and incentives are used to move cars that are not selling. Thus the BMW problem. IMO BMW is well marketed but over priced.

I agree about your cash position. If a person pays cash they reduce their capital. It is better to keep your capital and have the car too.

Nope.. Just a simple opinion gathered from friends of mine who where disappointed in their BMW's and the crazy repair bills. They do like how they are treated by the dealer with respect.
