Per the "Sales Guide", the Z51 spoiler will be body color and there is an option to have the spoiler and outside mirrors painted Carbon Flash - which this car is displaying.

Highly unlikely. Kirk Bennion states here that there's no need for fog lights.

I think the design team needs to rethink those stripes.
Yes, double skunk stripes are a Vette trademark that goes back to Cunningham at LeMans, but isn't that the reason to change them?
Let's see something different or unique for the C7. How about a single stripe offset to the driver's side? Or a stripe on the side that runs parallel to the side extractor?
Do something dramatic and cool. These are pretty average. IMHO.

Could it be that there is another rear end that will be introduced with the GS model? They just attached the non GS stingray rear facia to camo the rear that maybe forthcoming?
Speculative at best .... But I'm hoping for a different rear end treatment.

I noticed that as well. The only thing I could come up with is that these cars are pre-production and this one in particular may be missing some fasteners. As such, they may have used some color tape to help hold the rear fascia on in that area or to hide an unsightly gap. Another possibility is that there maybe some inner liner pieces missing on these prototypes so they may have used to tape to cover areas that water or ice could have intruded into which would make some sense given they are testing in the snow. .
That or it's some new fangled ultra light weight fastening process!
