Geeze ........ The gap where the spoiler meets the hatch is just too much. Darn thing looks like one of those aftermarket add on types the dealers like to install with two sided tape.

That is the best close-up I have sen so can someone tell me what that is on the diffuser that looks like maybe two bolts and some small opening that run horizontal and then at the bottom there is a small square opening. It almost looks like they forgot to install something in those area, or what was ever there fell off.

Saw the C7 at Detroit auto show. Looked stunning in person. They had it roped off so I couldn't get real close but the spoiler gap didn't look bad from the back but from our vantage point looked really bad from the other side

Ok, can't take this any more. "Stunning"? I have never heard any car person, ever, use the word "stunning". Red carpet at the Oscars, yes, new tea set at Macys, maybe. Cars are outrageous, bad ***, awesome,
hot, menacing, bold, or even bitchin. Not "stunning". And while we are on it, transmissions are trans, not trannys.

Seems like 95% of the people here cannot comprehend that a pre production test mule isn't the final product. Chrome emblems that haven't been colored? OH NO. Pieces missing? OH NO. Gaps? OH NO.

add-on spoiler
In my opinion, the spoiler is the only significant design disappointment on the C7 exterior. The engineering reminds me of the 1986-1990 C4 CHMSL, which was bolted onto the halo panel. It is now 2013 and for a newly -designed, high end sports car, the spoiler should either be an integral part of the adjacent bodywork or made a delete option as is done with other vehicles. No matter how small the resultant cut line, the effect is one of cutting corners for the sake of cost.
