C7 Emblem
Am I alone in thinking that the new emblem on the front and rear is a little too large and that the chrome seems out of place.
There is so little brightwork on the car it makes the emblems really stand out.
Personally I think a slightly smaller emblem in a aluminum finish or even black chrome would tidy up the look. Thoughts?

My guess is that the aftermarket will come up with different options for the emblems. They would be easy enough to paint and I am sure there will be vinyl overlays in every color imaginable including carbon fiber for the flags As such, addressing the Chrome should be an easy DIY job if you're so inclined. I'm also reasonably certain the rear emblems are just double sided taped on so they should be easy to remove.
As for how I feel about them based on what I have seen in photos.. I don't really pay any attention to them as my eyes are drawn elsewhere simply because I am either not that critical or because the car is so new that I'm consumed with other details. It's also hard to discern that kind of stuff from the pictures. At least for me anyway. For me time will tell.
I'm not that into chrome so I might just paint mine but it will depend on the color I choose. I would really need to sit and stare at them in the flesh to really decide how I feel about them though.

INHO the emblems on the rear on the car are over the top, not in a good way.
I am a Vette guy - have always had a passion and enthusiasm for them. But the rear end on the C7 is WAY to busy. It looks like the end product of 5 committees, who in a unholy ceremony, merged their different design ideas into one - and were determined at all costs to make it different than it's predecessors, damn the consequences.
Frankly the rear end of the C7 looks like a late model design that would have emerged from the Pontiac design studios.

Safety Car
Looks to much like a Trans-Am emblem to me, but I guess some people don't mind it.

I think the emblem is fine. I just think the Corvette chrome letters is overkill.
