Default 98 year old wants to buy a C7

I went to my local Chevrolet dealership today to pick up an extra '13 Corvette brochure and to find out about ordering the '14 Corvette emblems for my collection. (I already have the Stingray emblem)
While there, the salesman told me that there was a 98 year old gentlemen who stopped in to ask them what they would give him for his 93 mile, 2011 GS 3LT. The 98 year old no longer drives, but buys a new Corvette with a manual transmission, because he just likes having one.
He wants to sell this GS to the dealership and order a Z51 6 speed C7!
This has to be one for the history books! I love it!

He should be able to be the first one. There, the new Vette is attracting an extremely old man instead of a "younger crowd".

I 2nd the nomination to put him at the front of the list for the C7 of his choice. The sooner the better. ... And to the Chevrolet Customer Service Reps that monitor this Forum, please get this info to whomever to make his request happen ...

If he gets a manual, it will be a 7 speed.

There was a recent "birthday" guest on the Ellen Show...a 105 year old woman who still drives her car to her volunteer job. Lost the link but you can find it on Youtube. If I lost my ability to drive, I'd still want a Corvette in the garage to admire as a work of art.

I don't think I could do that. It would be crave you could never settle. So one of two options come to mind...

1.) Give it to the grandson and tell him I expect a ride every sunday.
2.) Hire a chauffeur.

to this man that is 98 years young. -- I want to buy his 2011 GS with 93 miles. It could also be a BS story from your local dealership.

We need a picture of this old guy in between his 2011 GS and C7 at the dealership when it arrives.
