Staying Stock or Modding?
Just another poll/thread to pass the time and the excruciating wait for the C7. How many of you are planning on modifying your C7? If so, what are you planning on doing? What are you power goals and how do you plan on driving your C7? Are you gonna track it, drive it every day, only on the week ends or is it gonna become a "garage queen"?
I plan on driving mine whenever the weather is nice. Probably will bring it to the drag strip for some fun, and IF I decide to modify the car, it will be strictly bolt-ons, nothing more.

I'll be putting some HRE wheels on the car but that's likely it.
The car will be a daily driver from May until October... day, night, rain, shine. It will also will see 10-15 track days a season.

Cosmetically, I'll probably be keeping mine the stock looking with MAYBE the exception of tints and blacking out that chrome strip that goes across the front grille.

I can't imagine what mod I would do to a C7. I might paint the wheels Competition Gray. Other than that I will probably leave mine alone.

The way the post questions are phrased, I believe the OP is discussing performance mods. We all add floor mats, many of us change wheels, etc.
I will not do any performance mods. Appearance mods? Not sure, but probably none.

Yep, the poll implies performance mods, not cosmetics. I'm holding out for the Z which will get headers for certain and depending on the stock rubber, tires. Other than that its hard to say with the lack of information now.

I'll keep it pretty much stock....maybe a few basic mods if at all.
The cars are well designed to begin with. I modded my 500 hp c5z06 and after 60k miles it was tough to keep running right ..
My c6 z51 is basically stock with a few minor mods and it's been trouble free... More fun to own and use everyday.
I'd do the same with a c7 z51 with MRC and competition seats when I buy.
