LOL. I think he/they have at least purported to disagree with himself/themselves on location placement of the 911s engine.
Properly juiced, I bet they could go on for pages arguing about that.

Right you are, but I guarantee that there are owners of A/H Bugeye Sprites that have more fun driving them than some owners of Z06 Vettes.
For me, the measure of a car that I buy for pleasure, is how much pleasure I enjoy while driving it, not what some statistics reflect.
I enjoyed driving a Triumph Spitfire more than I enjoyed driving my C3 Vette. I've enjoyed driving my C6 Vette more than I enjoyed driving my Porsche Super 90 (356). I enjoy driving my Z4 6speed more than I enjoy driving my C6 Automatic. But what I enjoy driving doesn't reflect what is the "superior" car, just what is superior for me. And for me, the rest of it is all crap.
As far as a rival for the C7, the answer to that will be reflected in the market, not on some stat sheet. I'm hoping that it is going to be a huge success.

I owned a Frogeye in '61 and had a blast in that little car. The car was fabulous with its 43 HP engine, 0 - 60 time of 20 seconds ?? and a top of 80? Its smiles per hour rating was high, until the Lucas gremlins reared their ugly head.
