Bad choice of words on my part. But I will tell you I was told by a Corvette marketing guy at Corvette Fest , that GM is not interested in people with my demographic. His words. I told him " I bet you take my check",,, he was just an A hole. All companies have them..

It could bite GM is the ***, very easy.

Where do you get this BS? What quote makes you think this is true or are you just paranoid? I guarantee you that GM isn't trying to exclude or "get away" from any demographic. They are attempting to broaden their target audience, not narrow it.

Selling more then they have in the past four years is nothing to write home about. Can they sell more C7's in the next 4 years then they did in the first 4 years of the C6's existence or the in the full 8 years of the C5 production???? That is very debatable.

Well, this wrinkly old azz has driven on Talledega in his Z06. I don't remember getting handed my azz by some 35-45 yr old driving on any size tires. And this wrinkly old azz also drives his Z06 around the Tail of the dragon, and Hwy 15 in WV and tons of twisties in my local Ozarks, without, not once, bouncing off a guard rail or a rock wall. There is no picture of my Z06 spread all over the Internet, jammed against a rock wall in AZ. Maybe if that driver was 70 years old, as I am, his pretty blue C7 would be on the road today instead of on a roll back headed for the body shop.

Have you EVER had your Vette on ANY track? Or do only have enough gas money to cruse around your local Sonic while other Corvette owners(not just me) actually drive their Corvette's on Talladega, Texas Motor Speedway, Daytona(high banked oval and the Rolex 24 course), Atlanta, and plenty of road courses scattered around.
I can show you pics of my car(with me driving) on a track. Why don't you show me where your Corvette spends it's time. I would like to see the inside of your high speed high banked corner garage. No need to hide your extensive collection of bottles/cans of wax when you take the pic as I'm sure you are are plenty proud of your wax collection.
Maybe show me your collection of emails from GM. I bet your garage walls are lined with framed copies.
I better go take a "pill" to clam me down. The excitement of waiting for your photo's is killing me. Then add on the excitement of waiting for the pics of you waxing your C7; more then a 70 year can handle.

You brought up my driving at Talladega is this thread, not me. Jealous, are you?

I hope your "waxer's elbow" gets to feeling better. I imagine it's difficult for you to type all those millions of daily CF posts with a bum arm.

Well JT, right back at ya. If I'm a post *****, your doing a fine job of keepin' up. The real difference is that you have evidently done all kinds of research on mine and I could care less about yours.

Don't have to research to see how many posts you make. While I'm driving 160 per hour on the track at Talladega, you are posting 160 per hour on the Corvette Forum.

We all know you've driven Talledega. So what? And many of us have driven the Tail and elsewhere and not wrecked either. I'm not sure why you had to bring the C7 incident into this, or what it even has to do with anything!
But since you did, what if it was Mera, which it wasn't. But you compare your skills to his? And doing 'dega or the Tail isn't the 'ring. What's your best time there in your Z06?
Don't answer, as it does not matter to anyone on here. I've enjoyed your posts for a long time, but the C7 bashing (and it is in a 'cute' underhanded way) from you is stale.
