45 and currently in a 427 vert. I also like the looks of the C7. I currently think I wll be a second year buyer, but will wait to see what life brings. In the meantime I will enjoy the one I have already. I am working on getting the vert paid off by spring, and being able to get a c7 if I like it that much when it hits atlantic city.

44 here.

Love the C7 from what I've seen so far, but bottom line, can't afford one. Let me restate that......I could borrow, but don't do that anymore, so can't afford the cash so in my garage it will not be. If I lost my mind, I'd love to sign on the dotted line, then pick it up at the museum.

Love my C5 vert, but did not buy it new. I see that happening with the C6 or C7 in another 5 years.....hopefully.

Less so far, I have yet to see it in person though. I really liked the C5 but couldn't make a deal on one locally (most still had market adjustments up to $10,000 even in 2004). When the C6 was introduced I couldn't wait and took NCM delivery in December of 2004. I will not be selling the C6 to buy a Stingray. I might still end up buying one depending on MSRP and performance numbers.

The looks really don't appeal to me so the price and performance will need to change my mind.

I'm 49, and still like the C6 better, both inside & out.

I"m 41 and if I had the dough I'd buy a C7.

I"m a life long Corvette fan and have had the pleasure to drive a '79 for the last 23 years. I love all Corvettes.

I love the C7. Not sure if I'll trade my C5 for it. May have to make room in the garage.

I'm in the range and I plan on buying the Z06 equivalent if and when it comes out. I like the looks & features of the Stingray more than I like my C6 coupe.

I am rapidly approaching 43.

I like all of the vettes for different reasons. There isn't one that i wouldn't have. With that said, I love the look of the front and side of the C7. The rear is not my favorite, it may grow on me, but right now it just seems "off".

But, I would certainly love to have one, and may in the next few years after they have come out.

Love the C7. I feel it makes the C6 look as dated as the C6Z made the C5.

I'm 39. All the models are beautiful except the C4. I've owned a C6 vert but traded that in for an M3, then Aston Martin Vantage, and now a CL63 AMG. The C6 was awesome except the interior which kept me away from getting the Z06.

The C7 is one Bad-MF! Bold, exciting, innovative (light years), a game changer in the auto design world for cars under 130k. All others will now have to step up their game. I hope I can hold out this time for the Z.

I'm not 39; I'm 5 years old awaiting for a Transformer on my birthday. Never did get the Transformer because my parents were poor.

When I got out of my C6 last night and walked past the front end, it looked so dull that I gave it a double-take. I still think the C6 looks good overall, but the front end has suddenly become boring and dated.

I haven't exactly fallen in love with C7, but it's still fundamentally altered my perception of prior Corvettes. Mission accomplished, I guess.

current have an LPE LSV c4 ZR-1, a C5 Twin Turbo Tiger shark

overall I think the C7 looks pretty good from most angles. the angular styling mixed with the curves looks like a "Ferrarmo" an unusual blend of a ferrari mating with the camaro (not the tail lights, the angular back end style) but it's is not only growing on me, I'm starting to really appreciate how much better it looks than in the photos and renders. overall it's a very appealing car from most of what I can see and a big step up in engineering and hopefully quality. the new interior looks great

I believe it's going to be the best handling vette yet. and drive really well
but it has a long way to go to get past a C6 ZR-1 (or even my old LPE c4 ZR-1 for that matter)

and I need to wait for the after market to "catch up" and be able to mod the new computer which looks like it's going to be a while.

GM has locked it down pretty tight and updating direct injection cars will present some new challenges. I don't think well see any C7 twin turbo cars anytime real soon after release. unless you piggy back another computer and add a set of injectors (which is doable)

overall, a big improvement in many ways. sorry guys, the tail end of the c6 and the c5 wasn't that pretty when they came out either.

I love all the vettes, but I still think the C3 and the C4 ZR-1 look a bit better in the back field

I updated my c5 to a tiger shark front and a specter werkes back (Tiger Werkes) with a Hall carbon fiber stinger hood and the car looks quite a bit better

for those of you who don't like the c7 back be patient, it's going to be a panel swap away from some other designs which will probably look a bit better

a few things I'd do to the c7 body paint the "eye lid vents" at the ends of the tail lights, change out the front grill, and put some nice ccw wheels on it. the car would be plenty sexy at that point.

the new LT1 is likely to be plenty torquey and have the "area under the curve" to provide decent performance. and the car will stop better than ever (which is a bit surprising)

so watch them next put the carbon fiber brakes on it, slap on a blower, and pump it up to 660 hp (a least that much) and well have a new ZR-1 that will get me where we need to be for me to want one.

however, it's a few years out probably

overall, the C7 is a game changer (and shucks I'm 52, so I grew up with the C3 and from 68-72 I still think it's the sexy vette of the bunch)

not very aero efficient though

I'm 44 and I love it. I've owned two C6's with my current being an 09 Z06 and can't wait to upgrade to a C7. I will likely wait a year to see what's in store for a C7 Z06 variant unless I have a fatal attraction impulse episode at a local dealer when I see a C7 Z51 sitting on the floor. In which case, I could have a C7 sooner than I expect and a Z06 or whatever version a few years from now.

I'm turning 50 this year. I owned a MY 2003 Z06, but couldn't buy into the C6 with its uglier, and IMHO more old-fashioned front and busier rear. To me the C6 looked like it almost came before the C5. Anyway, the C7 generally puts the Vette back on track with futuristic styling, with more modern lines than the C5 from all angles, but unfortunately gets even more hysterical in the rear than the C6. Verdict? I'll get a used C7 and fix the rear for a couple of G's. Oh, and I will saw off those childish sting ray nose bumps. BTW, anyone else detect defective AMC/Chrysler DNA in the C7's ugly ***? It's like someone on the C7 team must have once worked on either Chrysler's or AMC's cheesy design department.

42, Just bought a 13GS. I like the look of the new c7 for the most part except the lower half of the rear (taillights I could live with, not a big fan of the grey plastic lower). I'll wait to see it in person, but I love my car and am making upgrades to the interior bit by bit, making it my own. I still love the stance of the GS and think it looks pretty awesome, but I may be biased as a new owner.

38 here, so far I'm not to sure if I like the C7 or not. I'm happy with my C6 so it will be a few years before I think about going to a C7.
