Seat: 1LT vs 2LT; non-CF interior
Not that I expect anyone to know yet, but I'll ask anyway -- what's the difference between the 1LT seat and the 2LT seat? Is 1LT just missing heat/ventilation and forbidding the fancy leather and suede?
I also notice carbon fiber interior trim is an option -- does this mean the 1LT has some other material on the upper center console? Or does this option make other elements elsewhere in the cabin carbon fiber?

I believe any answers you receive regarding such specifics for the C7, will be nothing more than speculation.
This is the only accurate source I know of today...

Jinx, pretty sure (nearly positive) that your question can be answered by perusing that official option sheet that was posted in its own thread by a forum Vette dealer recently. I believe I saw those exact options listed among the "yes/no/optional" boxes for each trim level.
Think so, at least.

Yes, BlueOx, it was the options sheets that prompted my question; on a re-read I see I should have added "and lumbar/bolster bladders" to my "missing" list above.

Good luck. I did hear someone say that Motor Trend said the 1LT seats are vinyl.

1LT works for me! Z51 MRC shocks along with the 1lt available competition seat...makes it a lightweight and value proposition that's a blast to drive....
If it's not leather that's fine. Alcantara would be preferred but the material in black is all I want.

"The whole cabin is bathed in soft-touch materials, cut and stitched vinyl standard, and Napa leather optional in a number of colors. Trim is likewise rich, using aluminum, leather, microsuede, and optional real carbon fiber."
Interesting as to where where is the leather? All a bit confusing!

GM said "If it looks like aluminum, it's aluminum" and "If it looks like carbon fiber, it's carbon fiber", but I never heard them say if it looks like leather, it's leather. LT1 seats may be vinyl to reduce the cost.

In the article I read it said i"if it looks like it then that's what it is"

Moulan Leather GT Seats Standard 1LT, 2LT, 3LT. It's right in the the first option sheet BlueOx posted.

Seat options
I think the C7 will follow the C6 in the way of seat features. The 1LT seats will be very similar to the 2LT seats but will have non-perforated leather inserts, and no power lumbar, heat or cooling. The seats may have a less expensive leather grade?
As someone mentioned earlier all the seats will be similar because to recertify all the different seats for crash standards would be cost prohibitive for GM.
I hope that these seats are all similar. That way I can get the suede (Alcantara) inserts from a forum vendor for my 1LT seats.

"Moulan leather" is standard for all three interior packages. "Napa leather" is available in the GT Sport seats in the 3LT package. Questions: What is Moulan leather and what is Napa leather? Is it cowhide, horse hide, goat hide, or does it come from the South American Moulan or Californian Napa?
