Sorry for the bad photoshop, but the originals were such low res, makes it very difficult.

That looks so much better. Thanks for doing that.

If the bottom is plastic, and it has a functional purpose, like chip protection, then I can accept that it is black. I'd be annoyed that there is so much plastic, but I could accept that it is black.

If it is a painted panel, then I think it looks 1000x better when it is painted body color.

To have a painted black panel there, with no functional or economic purpose, is just a questionable design decision. It's just too busy.

Keep it simple.

Without full body color paint on the backend, I just can't begin to like it-- with full body color I begin to...

yes, I guess its why I like that cyber grey color so much. I like it when the back doesnt have the contrast in black. On that cyber grey its a lot less noticeable.

I think we just need to wait a year or two and see. I am not sure how it will sell right now. Sure there is all the hype seeing it is so different, but just how many will run out and buy one still remains to be seen.
First year cars in the Corvette family have always out sold the last year of the past generation with the exception of the C5. With all the negative comments on the C4, it sold twice as many in its first year compared to the final year of the C4. We don't know what the C6 2013 MY numbers will be exactly, but the C7 may be able to out do it, but then again the C5 numbers were way down in the first year. That may have been due to the lack of the convertible which is the same plan for the C7 from what I have heard.

Although, it does not matter to me, because I will not be out there placing my order anytime some on one.

I think we just have to wait till the first production cars roll off the line. The options are still just proposed.

That black lower fascia looks awful on anything other than black or cyber gray.

You are not alone there are many who feel this way.
It seems to be what's keeping us on the fence.

At least you won't have to spend $2,000 to replace the crappy Goodyear tires.

Ehh to be honest I like the black bottom, I have a TR C5 and thought hard about maybe painting it or plasti dipping it to see what it's like. I like it for some reason and it gives it a more diverse look but it's handsome either way haha
