"IF" you could have it, and given the choice, which would you take and WHY?

(1) The new C7 Z51 or
(2) A C6 ZR1?

I personally would take the C6 ZR1 in favor of the new C7 Z51!

ZR1 hands DOWN!!!!! C7 is alright, but it ain't a ZR1 !

I can't wait to find out how much a set of new shoes are gonna run on the C7 with those new special tires? Bet they are going to be $1000 a pop?

No brainer!!! That's 450HP vs. 638HP.....

OP Maybe if you where asking about a C7Z or C7 ZR1 (if they even make one)....

C6 ZR1 no contest, hell id take a C6 GS or Z over a C7.

If I wanted a euro car I wouldn't be a member of this forum.

I would take the ZR1 and sell it for 85k and then buy the C7 for 70k and pocket the 15k.... Kind of a silly question don't you think?

I'd go with the C7.

Edit: Clarification - if you're giving me the car, I'll take the ZR1, of course. If you're asking if I had the equal capability of obtaining a ZR1 or a C7, I'd go with the C7.

Almost every question on here is silly and nothing is ever perfectly equal. This is a no brainer, I'd even take a ZO6 or a GS over a C7!

No brainer. Take the ZR1, sell it, buy the C7 Z51 and use the extra $30-40 grand to buy the wife a new kitchen.

I love the new C7 but I would take the ZR1 in a heartbeat.

the question should've been C7 vs. C6GS or something like that...

I'd add the C7. At this point, as cool as the new car is, it can't yet replace the ZR1 in my garage.

Maybe, I'd trade the ZO6, but not the ZR. If I had a GS, that'd be a no-brainer, up for sale, making room for a Stingray, decision.
