Default Rev Match default is OFF

Anyone who got wound up about the evils of rev match can now put away the lorazapam as the defaul settings is off.

So........you will never know you have it unless you turn it on.

Problem solved

Can you please help me with the source of your avatar?

Someone hacked my computer and stole pictures of my wife and I need to track them all down...... for legal purposes. She won't even wear that dress anymore. She is so embarrassed.

Does CAGs operate in the same rpm range (1800 shift) as it did on the C4 and Gen 4 Camaros on the C5 and 6?

If so. Shame on you people.

I only ever shifted at 2 grand if I was 'loafering' around :P

Who cares? CAGS is easily prevented from activating by smart driving. No need to bypass as it is just a waste of $20. No need to even do a smart fuse application since that is a waste of a $1.

Thanks for the info. I think it always best to let the driver control these systems,

We have
always had control in the past (AH and TC)

Why would you not want rev matching? Why would people spending countless hours tryingt to learn how to do it? Because it works thats why. I've had it on 4 cars and not only does it sound wicked but it helps a lot.

Yeah, I don't know, my owner's manual says something about it. I skipped that part. All I know is that when I take off from a stop, I get a light that flashes real quick on my dash. Heck, I can't even tell you what it says.

Jimmy

...said no daily driver ever.

CAGS engaging in traffic = 3k rpm to go 20 mph or lugging in 4th

Its a hassle, plain and simple.

Absoposilutely. The very first aftermarket item that went on my previous Corvette and the very first one that will go on my next one. Count me as another disgusted daily driver around town.

I think CAGS is a good idea its just the unpredictability that gets you. In my old car I used to do the 1-4 by myself after I disabled it and it didn't bother me. When CAGS makes you do it, that's when you get pissed.

Isn't there a fuse you can take out to get rid of CAGS?
