The Z51 Package returns with C7 and promises to make the standard Vette into a track ready performer. The question is how many will actually get the package?
Here's what it includes:
Track-capable Z51 Performance Package including: an electronic limited-slip differential, dry-sump oiling system, integral brake, differential and transmission cooling, as well as a unique aero package that further improves high-speed stability. Larger brakes and wheels.
You can also get it with the Magnetic Ride suspension and PTM.
I had an 08 Coupe with the Z51 Package and loved it so I know I'll be getting it when I purchase my car.
The price of the package hasn't been announced yet but I'm guessing it won't be cheap with all the upgrades you get.
So if your thinking about purchasing a new C7 will you be getting the Z51 package?
OK, it is finally being done correctly by team Corvette by offering the MR and other Z51 components TOGETHER! Yes, I know that the GS basically did this but they didn't call it Z51 then...now we can buy those hideous Z51 badges!!

That may be a popular mod, replace the Stingray with a Z51 badge.
I'm not a "tracker", so this would be my exact list also.
good move, and we will be able to afford tires when they need replaced... the Z51 wont have much in regards to tire options with the new 19, 20" wheel combo.
Base will have 18" in the front, and 19" in the rears, and will offer a ALL SEASON TIRE! this is huge because I live in Indianapolis, IN and we get all types of weather. I'm hoping the base corvette is <3200lb's however, we will have to wait and see.
