C6's Toast?
I, being a very recent (nine months) museum buying C6 person, having read some of the remarks concerning likes or dislikes of the C7, and going on to compare it with the narrow body of the C6 along with the "old hat" type comments of the same, I am somewhat disgruntled.
To me, a Corvette owner is a lover of Corvettes....all of them, some more than others according to preference of style, but a lover all the same.
I think it is in poor taste to make remarks like that, especially to those who have wanted a Corvette all their lives and have worked hard to be able to own one, no matter what the style is, or what the cheapest price was that they could afford.
Were the C5's trashed when the C6's came out and so on, on down?

The C7 is starting to grow on me a little more each time I see it, and I have not yet seen it in person. It may be an acquired taste, like beer (to some).

LOL It could be wishful thinking too. The car is not out yet.
There has been allot of Hurrah in the past for things only to
have it fall flat on its face.
Just think, C8 could come quicker than realize, so then the
C7 is yesterday's news. Or lets say a C7.5 to clean up the 7

I think the C7 will grow on me... There's more to like than dislike for me...in that case I will probably end up with one. My dilemma...I really do "love" my C6 and would hate to let her go... I'm hoping that seeing the C7 in-person will make the breakup a bit easier on me...if it doesn't dare I keep em' both!!

[QUOTE=Sidepiper;1582856771]The C6 is still a great car for senior citizens or entry level vette guys but the C7 is really where its at.
Drive a C6 Z06 then make that statement.

I dig the c7! Since seeing the c7 I don't know why but I'm really enjoying my black z51 ls3 m6 with NPP exhaust even more than before the release... Maybe because all corvettes benefit from the new cool the c7 brings to the table?
When the time is right for me I'm sure I'll sell my c6 and buy a new z51 m7 MRC NPP competition seat optioned vette.

Now go back and look at a C6, does it look simple and plain?
I love the C6, always wanted one. I liked the C7 from the first time I saw it on Sunday but after ogling over it for the last 5 days it really has grown on me. Today I looked at a C6 for the first time since C7 made its debut, all I can say is now the C6 looks rather plain.
