I just bought the GT5 simulator today, so I could test the c7 out also. the 463 HP and 475 TQ. rating is very interesting indeed. I wonder if this will be the actual end result. Was the makers Grand Turismo 5 privy to this information ?

Maybe those are the real numbers. GM might've let that purposely slip for the game. Who knows?

Weight of the car in the game is 1500kg. I think that can not be true.

That is too heavy. 991 Carrera S is 3113lbs and has rear seats as unnecessary burden.

You should keep in mind the C7 did those times despite the weight disadvantage over the Z06.

Stingray23....were you using the controller or a wheel?.

I wasnt the one playing. I found that video on Youtube. I just wanted to share it with everyone. If its any indication of the real world, then the C7 will be closer to the Z06 then expected.

That's a cool video. It's amazing how far along graphics have come over the years. Certainly beats the heck out of one of my favorite driving games growing up: Vette!

I wonder how close GT5 is to the real exhaust noise. the C7 is a a lot more "mechanical" sounding, and more Ferrari like.

They are both exceptionally light cars, check out the weight of a Mustang or 99% of the other (non econobox) cars out there.

GT5 is pretty famous for having worthless exhaust renderings. Even the F1 cars sound like garbage.

The rating I saw for the C7 was 443 hp and 454TQ,
Then I checked the Z06, and the rating was 503hp, I can't remember the torque though
