Cobo Hall Parking
Does anyone know a good place to park and use the people mover to get to the hall? We are going on Wednesday and it is gonna be COLD...

If you get there early (let's say 8:30ish or earlier), park under Cobo. You can access that lot off Washington Blvd. $10.
That's where we parked this morning. Left coats in the car and took the staircase up to the lobby.

I agree. I parked at Greektown Casino.
Parking is free in a large garage and the People Mover goes right by the Casino. .75 cents for a ticket to get on the train.

what a joke - parking was this year.
The two garages I've used in the past were closed for construction.
We drove around & around; no luck. Then Called Cobo and every place the lady suggested to us - we had already driven by and they were FULL.
And this was on one of the Industry Preview days. I can't imagine how FU'd it would be during public days.
We drove back in front of Cobo - and luck was with us that day... the underground garage (directly underneath Cobo) had changed from being a monthly-permit-only spot... to allowing anyone to park. It was great
