I have had a 2006 and 2008 coupe, and now a 2010 vert, IMO, there is no comparison between the coupe with an open top, and the vert topless! Plus pushing a button for the vert to open vs taking off and storing the coupe top is something that you have to experience to appreciate.
Absolutely getting a C7 vert as soon as it is available!

Coupe + Automatic for me only!
I don't like the look of convertibles in general, they make the car look a lot more plain jane. A Lambo vert is one of the few who can pull it off and still look great.

I was just having a little fun Larry, sorry. Sitting at my desk on a Friday bored out of my mind and I actually laughed out loud when I posted that, thought for sure I would create a bigger stink then I did. I really like the look of this vert like most of us that posted here its awesome and I think even better then the coupe. Sorry to anyone I insulted I didn't mean it just spicing up my day a little

I own a coupe and like to travel a bit on the road in it - the verts look cool to me too - I like them both. Is there storage in a vert though? Where you can put your bags and such? If so, is it a large area?

The coupe is much better looking. The convertible looks like a photoshoped C6.
That said, if I buy a coupe, I buy fixed roof coupes. I cannot stand targa tops or sunroofs on performance cars. I hope the roof on the C7 Z is not removable. Threy need to continue what they did with the C6 Z/ZR1. Fixed roof on coupes all the way.
Keep the removable roof on the base car.

I have always liked the look of a vert with a hardtop, especially the C2-C3 generations, which is partly what first drew me to the C5 Z06 - besides the awesome performance, I just like the look. So a C7 vert with an auxiliary hard top would be my preference, although the coupe is certainly growing on me every day - it's almost as if Bill Mitchell is back at GM.

If you have a power top the top protection divider in the trunk can be folded flat to the trunk floor increasing the storage area by better than 50%.
