I like it just fine, and all the buyers that dont have a new design being photoshopped for them on this forum and made into a kit that will cost 399.00.

Like and dislike all tied up at 4!!! Undecided has yet to score!

I would believe that most of the people who like the rear of the car are tired of these threads and won't vote, leaving only "those that don't like it", the "haters" and a few of the people "who like it" that haven't suffered through this 1000 times already to vote.

So, did you like it from the get go or did it grow on you? Were you shocked (positively or negatively) when you first saw it or was it just another design statement of the car?

I like the C7 100%! I'm sure it will grow on everyone just the the C6 did after a little time! I can't wait to get one!!!

I still hear that about the C5. I don't think it got any better I think they just learned to live with it. Why can't GM design a rear end that we don't have to learn to live with?

Almost 100% love it.
Have you visited the thread where the C7 just won a ton of awards voted by the public that was at the show?
Maybe you should.

The blue ox drawings had me torn because it lacked dimension. Also, the front end in the renderings was much smoother at that time, so to me it didnt have a cohesive design
When autoweek leaked the cover, the rear lights had a much more angry look and it was a 3/4 view, and that made me happier, because it started to look pretty mean in some ways. Plus the c&d cover revealed a much more aggressive front, which brought balance.
When the car rolled out in the reveal, I was pretty shocked at how nice it was in reality. At that point I had maybe 15-20% reservation about the tails, but I always kept in mind that performance was going to be so good, it'd be hard NOT to like it, so I had to keep an opened mind.
When Gran Turismo released, I immediately shot photos of it in there, and THAT was a big thing for me. Being able to virtually look at it (pun intended), was a big part of liking it.
Then, I zipped to Detroit yesterday and saw it in person. I probably watched that car spin in a circle 20 times. Between that and the one on the wall, being right next to it...it became the next page for me....the C7 z06 will be my next corvette.
I was going to sell my c5z last year and get a carbon z07. I held off though, and supercharged my c5z in anticipation of the c7. I'm DEFINITELY glad I did. The C7Z will be a monster, and it will be MINE!!!
