First Video of C7 being driven.

If I'da known...
the C7 was gonna be at Barrett- Jackson, I'de have played hookey, hung out an Out to Lunch sign, cheated and lied, and gone to see it...
The first pix of the rear (long ago) did nothing for me. The pix of the new machine in toto were a major turn- on, though. Maybe they'll take my Boxter in trade....

It is said that they fixed the interior. I will believe it when I see it. Far be it for GM to finally realize that what the owner sees likely 90 percent of the time is the interior of their new car and now they've caught on. I will believe it when I see it. One can hope.

So Tadge says he and Matt are the only ones that have driven it? What about the guys that drive it on and off the transporter?

I still like my C5 the best. Need to see this one in black, I agree with the other post that said that black would help hide the vents. BTW are those functional or for show?
I am glad that Chevy had the ***** to continue to produce the Corvette in this erea of "small and electrical is wonderful, Big bad azz V8's are bad" You don't buy this car for gas milage.

I think I may be the only one in this forum that absolutely HATES the Camaro rear end of the new C7. I love the new interior and the way it looks from the front. Having more hp and less weight means it will blow away my 2012 GS, but my car is scary fast for me so this is not an issue unless you are into bragging rights. I am not trading in my C6 for one of these (maybe in 4 years )
I also opted for a coupe with a removable roof. Some people hate that, but it does not appear that the C7 will have a removable roof. My wife loves that feature in the warm weather. But this is only one opinion. I had the option of waiting another year for the C7 or getting a great deal on a GS. I waited long enough for my first vette so I jumped in at the right time to get some perks on the deal.

Was on the today show this morning. First non-GM employee to drive the car. YES.. there is another Today show thread.. but it does not mention that the car is driven and there is video of the car in motion.
Figured people wouldnt catch that unless it was put in a seperate thread.

I think some people are vastly overstating the Camaro tail lens issue
In my opinion, the C7's tail lenses do not make the whole car look like a Camaro; the C7 looks virtually nothing like a Camaro. If anything, and a good thing, the C7 is evocative of a Ferrari.
A Camaro is a snubby, boxy, more domestic looking muscle car.

Glad everyone likes the C7, hopefully that will create a glut/discount on the C6's for me to scoop up. (Which I think are perfect) I'm happy for those who like the car, but for me, it will have to grow on me. Right now when I look at the side vents all I see are left over Saturn Vue vents. Tail end looks good to me, but I'm also a Camaro fan.

It's really hot. I like everything but the rear tail lights. It reminds me of the tail lights on the new Camaro which I really like but makes it less unique to me for the Vette.
