Default Top Coat paint protecter

Is this stuff as good as they make it out to be? I was thinking of spraying my chrome wheels to keep the OEM brake dust at bay.
Anyone used this product?

Is "top coat paint protector" the name of the product brother? However, even if it is I can't believe anything would hold that dang brake dust at bay. The amount of dust those Brembo pads produce is amazing. I just changed mine out.

It may help slightly with the pitting that brake dust can cause but keeping the brake dust at bay I think will require you to jack it up and replace those pads. I've been impressed with the Carbotechs.

I've seen the ads for it on FB all the time but haven't investigated whether or not it's all valid.

I'd use something that is static resistant - like Beadmaker. That's what I use as a topper over my wax/sealant combo and love it.

Yes I just used it recently and what you do is do one section at a time let's say 1 door !! 1 spray at the top of the door because the product slides down pretty quickly then immediately use a cloth to spread it over the area then immediately use another clean cloth to wipe off the area of any residue !!! After I did all the areas I use a clean towel and wipe the whole car with to pickup any spots not previously not done by your other steps You will notice how slicker the car surface is compared to other products !!! So after driving my car for a recent 300 mile trip I used Quik N Brite or something water based very mild cleaner the car was easily cleaned up in no time using the same procedure !!! I also used it on the windows and my chrome wheels ( Top Coat ) and tried it on the tires !!!! Wayne
