Default Good Video of Exhaust Note and Tail Light Function

Not sure if this has been posted, but this video gives a pretty good recording of the LT1 running (sounds good), and all the various tail light functions (hazards, turn signals, backup, brake).

Interesting listening to the idle speed. Started out fairly high and took a bit to settle down.

Exhaust sounds a little different - and seems a little louder - than the C6 exhaust. Still has that "splatty", tractor-like idle sound to it.

Tough to guage off portable mics tho. Always better to hear in person.

I'm not that impressed with sound. I actually wish they would remove the X-pipe. Every one I have ever heard with one, it ruined the sound, giving it that "single exhaust" pickup truck note.

I wonder if that is the performance exhaust. It probably sounds better in person. The sound changed as the exhaust system adjusted for the condition. With all the pneumatic valving, it takes a second or two for vacuum to build and the valves to set.

I think I remember reading the valving on the C7 is electric - change from C6.

May be wrong, but for some reason that's sticking in my head. . . .
