It's just a rendering, but perhaps a few C7 Z06/ZR1 styling points can be observed from here...

Hopefully the C7.R will be racing at next years Rolex 24 at Daytona 2014.

Corvette Racing has already announced they would be tracking the two C6.R's for the 2013 ALMS season

The 2014 Rolex at Daytona will also be the first race with the merger between Grand-Am & ALMS.

What a way to break in the new C7.R with a 24 hour race followed by the 12 hours of Sebring.

We plan on make our reservations at our hotel for the 2014 Daytona race next week while were there for this years race.

I would say no. Simply because the cost of building a GT car is expensive and Pratt & Miller should have the 2013 C6R about done and ready for next months winter testing in Sebring.

Also, I have not seen this years regulations, but the C7 is not in production so I don't believe it would meet the homologation requirements in time for Le Mans.

So does that mean the Rolex Corvette DPs will be racing amongst the GT Corvettes??? That would be very cool for GM, I'd imagine.

Side-note: This Forum really needs a Corvette Racing sub-forum.

I spoke with the guys at Pratt & Miller. They will continue to race the C6.R this year and then switch to the C7 the following year.
