I think OP is right, they delivered on a lot of things people were looking for and were quite frankly overdue in such a great sports car. I don't like any car 100%, but this thing is definitely badass.

Gotta say I like it. Will wait a couple years before I buy one.

Without sounding like a total fanboy, I really like the C7. Is it perfect? No.
My only issue is with the rear facia/lights - and I can say they have both really grown on my over the past few days to the point where I kind of like the new lights. The rear facia is going to take me a little more time, but there is nothing here that would prevent me from buying one.
The only other car I'd consider is the MP4-12C Spyder, and that is waaaay out of my price range!

C7 looks real nice..Prob get one in about summer of 2014. I have had 5 Corvettes ( all new - 64, 68, 87, 02, 09 ) and from the real pic it looks kick ***. Just a lot of stupid bitching. It looks like the corvette racing and engineers had a big hand in this design. Lots of neat aero tricks from the C6R program.

Cheers

The more I look at it the more I like it. I'm sure there will be an aftermarket solution to improve the look of the rear end. And if not I think I could live with it. I was a little disappointed because I know GM could have done even better... but the truth is that the car looks pretty darn good overall for being the base car. The interior satisfies me. And there is no doubt the car is awesome from an engineering stand point. You have got to wonder what they have in store for the C7 Z06.

If this car is really based on the C2. I can't imagine how cool the C8 will be. If they base the C8 design on the C3 and give us a modern, evolved more refined corvette I know what I'll probably be driving in my 40s.

I'm not selling my viper for one of these but I'd certainly like to have one someday.

I went from "it's ok" to "I'm liking it" to "I love it". I have a C6 and let my 27 year old son drive occassionally. When I showed him the pic of the silver C7 he text me back "GOOD GOD!!! I WANT ONE!!!!!" If corvette wanted to attract that demographic, they captured my sons attention.

After selling my C5 back in 2008, I have kinda remained silent with postings. I like what I see so far, and I can't wait to see it in person at the NAIAS on Monday the 21st Jan.

I'm starting to really like it what with all the new tech and whatnot. I'll take mine in black.

I like the C7 a lot better than I was expecting to. Nice job, GM!

Can't wait to see how it performs and feels from behind the wheel.

I really like the C7. The only thing that may turn me off is the interior handle. I will just have to see when I actually sit in one. After that, I will probably drive off in it - if it's black.
