Where is the C7 convertible?
Thought there would be a convertible at the reveal. Nope.
Love the C7 but a first year buy is a "no go" for me without a convertible offering.
Peace, out.
PS: Hope there is not another thread; I looked.

I agree, but I think I read that it will be introduced later in the model year. I don't plan on buying the first year out anyway. So it really doesn't matter but I'm anxious to see the finished product.

It's TBD...sorry had to do it!
Tradition shows that they unveil the Vert later..
C4 came out in 84MY and not Vert till 86MY
C5 came out in 97MY and the vert in 98MY
C6 introduced at NAIAS and then vert introduced at Geneva Autoshow later

The C6 vert was available right away although it then was delayed when they had top problems. I had ordered mine in 10/2004 but couldn't get it until the end of 1/2005 due to the issues.

S2K, but it wasn't introduced at the same time. The Coupe was introduced in Jan. at the NAIAS show while the convertible was introduced in March at the Geneva Auto Show in Switzerland...

Probably true. I didn't follow it that closely at the time. At least it was supposed to be "available" at the same time.

I have been following the car closely for 15+ years from my desk at the Corvette Museum....it will come, and when it does it will be awesome!

Reckon I am a moron but thought the convertible would be announced concurrently. That said, Adam, please keep us posted with any info possible.
Already planning "mine" just as soon as I can order. And museum delivery, too.
Peace, out.

Not awesome IMO, at least with the top up.

After seeing the coupe, I may go back to the coupe. Have to see one in person first though.

convertible availability
According to Edmunds and others,
The Vette vert will be avail approx 5 months after the coupe, so spring of 2014. The design change will not be as dramatic as the coupe because when you chop the roof off, the lines don't change as dramatically, edmunds has an artist rendition of it if you look on their site.
According to edmunds, they have confirmation it WILL be a soft top. I love convertibles but I think I will go with the coupe cause I LOVE the look of this new car.
