Got a call from my dealer today asking what I want inscribed on my personalized plaque. I ordered an AW with AR Z51 2LT on September 27th. The woman in charge of ordering told me that once Chevrolet production calls for that information, it means the car is about to be built. Anybody know if there is any truth to this? I'm curious who else has ordered with this option. The car is at 3000 status. I'm crossing my fingers

I got the call a couple weeks ago from NCM,still at 3000 z51 3lt hope to find out good news one of these days!

I'm sure I am an exception, but I got a call from Shane back in EARLY JUNE and just got notice that my car was finally built Oct 7.

I got the call 2 weeks back and I jumped from 3000 to 3300 yesterday. Hang in there

Nice, I hope that's the case for me. I was reading some older threads, and it seems that it can go either way. My dealer is saying that they are only getting in one Z51 a week, and they are waiting on 40 or something. I was one of their last four Z51 first allocation orders.

I got the email from Shane two weeks ago, called Lori and she said it was a good sign. 4 days later they contacted me about arranging my buyer's tour which I did last Friday and Saturday, so you're on your way!
