All the salesmen knew my name. And that I was a 17 year old kid with a part time job and no money.
Then it showed up and I would't leave.

I have got to say that I am really, really disappointed. A more retro-look Stingray, possibly even with a split rear window, would have been a home run. But, alas, the C7 is a reshaped C6 with minor differentiation. The often referenced "concept car" had much more aggressive looks to the front end that would clearly state a differentiation from the C6 and would have also been a huge hit. But no, we get to look at a C6 ZO6 front end with minor tweaks.
I applaud the improvement to the interior, I am neutral on the new LT1, and I am not at all fond of the rear.
IMHO, which has the same value as any on this forum, is that the new clown shoe looks better. Blasphemy, I know, but is this really the best that Government Motors could produce? And, to think that it will look like this this for the next 7 years or so, makes me cringe.
Sorry, pass.

Thanks “BuckyThreadkiller” for your time in putting this expose together.
I’m sold!
The tail end be damned. No fan here - but I plan to get over it.
The tail lights are certainly not a deal breaker for me, and I won’t even have to look at them when driving - opinions are whimsical and elastic, and I’m sure that to many skeptics (me included) the design will eventually gain acceptance, and even find favor.
However, given the killer design of the car as a whole, (again, not a fact, just my opinion) I find it absurd to think that the tail lights design is solely intended to attract a younger crowd, as has been alleged. That tail lights would influence a purchasing decision, to a major degree, can’t be rooted in sound reasoning. GRT

In the one video, Tadge mentions the "only 2 parts" thing again.
Actually saying it might be "1" if they redesign the roof latch.
He does not mention the automatic transmission.
So, while still a 6 speed, it must be a new part as well.

Safety Car
My general opinion FWIW
Pros:
- Gorgeous car, especially in red with the black wheels (And I am normally not even a big fan of black wheels)
- Many significant and tasteful technological upgrades
- Finally a high quality interior that will silence the critics?
Cons:
- Looks a bit too close to the C6 for a car that is a complete redesign.
- exhaust note sounds like ***
Overall I LOVE it and wish I could afford one

Video of retractable screen
Here is a video of the center console screen retracting and showing the cubbyhole space behind it with USB port.

The more views I see of this car, the more I like it. Regarding the rear/tails - I can remember thinking what a big butt the C5 has when it came out, but it grows on you the more you absorb the design. One thing for sure, the new threads on this car make the base C6 & GS look immediately dated.
