My first Corvette ......2000 C5...... Owned for only 2 years..... Was going to be my last! I was 40 years old at the time....... And felt I was the youngest owner of a new Vette at the time! To me...... The look and all...... It was an "old man's car"....... I told everyone after I got rid of it! And it seemed that everyone who owned one.......'was old!

Now the looks and lines of THIS car....... All I can say is WOW!!!!

All you guys bitching, moaning & complaining....... Like little old ladies......

I say ...... GREAT!

I hope none of you buy this car!

...... Because I am #12 on the Criswell's list....... Will have the car this Aug/Sept........ And I want to be the ONLY ONE ....... That has one!

If you had gone to a corvette club you would found a mix of people and ages.

Funny about the "old man's car thing". When I bought my 95 Vette in 1995 I was 46 and my wife used to joke that you mostly saw old farts in Vettes. I have to say this has become even more true with the more recent models. It seems that with each generation past the C4, the average age goes up 5 or 10 years. The car has become more "civilized" but less "attainable". An article yesterday in the LA Times about the unveiling of the C7 even noted that the average buyers were 51 years old. It cracks me up when I see a recent model Corvette and see a white haired guy who clearly looks out of place in the car. I guess that is what makes the world go round though.

Camaro tail lights look like chrome chalices full of red wine. C7 tails totally different, as is the rest of the rear. People wanna complain go check out a 1971 Camaro (with the optional spoiler) vs. 1971 Vette.
