The hate will persist until all the haters buy one then we'll be stuck with a barrage of "Look at my cool new cat's meow C7" threads. That's the way of CF.

I was 18 when I bought a 2000 C5 (seems so long ago lol). And honestly I never ever got comments about it being an old man car. I more comments along the line "it suits you", "what does your dad drive a ferrari?!" (he drove a mini-van) and girls loved it when the actually got in it (and drove it). But the V6 mustang my sis let me use in the winters got more attention from the girls. lol

So you're opinion is the right one.

Ok.

For me... I like the whole car with the exception of the rear. Maybe 2015 will have a revision.

I hope the unecessary gaps in your grammar are less than the gaps in your patients' teeth.

You're on the upswing of the auto insurance bell-curve, friend.
Enjoy your C7 while you can. You will feel younger in a just a few years...
you'll be paying teenage-rate premiums and getting an annual eye test and a periodic road test at license renewal time.

But, I agree. That car is, indeed, the bee's knees.
Oh, I mean, the cat's meow.

Wait... You sold your C5 because the *other* people who owned one were all too old?

Mother of god, talk about insecure.

But yes, I like the C7, too.

Ask the next white-haired Corvette driver what he pays for insurance.

Past age 55, you start approaching the teenage-driver rates. Past age 65, you pay big $$$, especially for a sports car.
Look forward to an annual eye test and periodic road test at license renewal time.

Definitely. Many 'performance' car owners have been very embarassed by the sinister old man's car, the Buick Grand National.

BTW, the C6 tail lights are not round, they are elliptical. What is everyone complaining about? Crazy!

I see ZERO similarities except for color and the number.

Maybe you could point-out how they are the same for us "blind" idiots?

It's impossible for insecure people to see themselves as insecure. They are too preoccupied worrying about what others are thinking about them.

As for the C7, like anything people are going to see in it what they want to, for better or worse. Nobody cares what I think of it other than me (well, except my wife) and I'm totally OK with that. I do think though that everyone should be thankful that GM put the effort into creating this car as it ultimately benefits sports car lovers everywhere.
