Hauls my wife AND two kids to school when I feel like leaving the other cars home. Also make an intoxicating (this 4 valve 8 sounds fantastic), comfortable long trip cruiser - works well as a fast GT, which is what I bought it for. I can actually fill the thing with camping gear when the rear seats are folded down, and head up to the Sierras for a few days of camping with the wife. Wouldn't work as well with most Corvettes. They're very different cars, Corvettes and Mustangs, yet many would say the Mustang is more practical. Both are raced and either may win, depending on track and driver. I do consider late Corvettes more of a true "sports car", but that's what they're designed to be; not a 4 seat GT like the Mustang.
