Interior nice except for the vents they are all different. Should of kept the ones pointing straight ahead all the same at least. The back looks horrible in that picture with those skinny *** tires.

The shops got there work cut out for them
The more i look at it the more it just looks like some horrible design. Honestly the camaro looks better from the rear. I am being totally honest here. I am trying my harderst to like it and i cant bring myself to like it at all. They ruined it. Sorry just my opionion. I hope at least some of the corvette shops like wcc or LG or lingenfelter can come up with some nice body kits to make it look a little better.

I know that "higher ups" in management were bitching, wanting the rear of the C7 to not be "so big". I think THAT is the reason for the black lower half. They were trying to VISUALLY make the rear end LOOK smaller.
The small tire problem. I'm with you guys. That is my problem with the Camaro SS. Tires are not wide enough. Look at a 1LE Camaro next to the SS and see what a MAJOR difference in styling you get from wider rubber. I understand GMs logic that with a lighter weight car, you don't need as much rubber to get the same result, PLUS by taking the smaller width rubber you loose weight, loose rolling resistance, loose tramming, and get a car that is much more nimble. Sorry, I'm a Neanderthol successful plumber on this issue. I want 315s ON THE FRONT! 345s on the rear!!!! LOL!
The front, sides, interior are absolute home runs. The entire rear end of the car is EXTREMELY over styled. WAY too busy. Actually, tacky. Now, my question is, will this problem be so bad on the dark colors? I don't think so. I think the rear of the car looks good in WHITE and YELLOW also, because of the black accents. That in mind, I'm thinking that Red looks great on the car, but makes the rearend tacky. Thoughts?

WOW....I waited soooo long for this and all I can say is Thanks but no thanks. Way to many better looking options at this point for same money. I been a GM guy since I was 16 years old and at close to 50 years old now, I just might be jumping ship. Pathetic!

Maybe if I had rearranged the order and added the real thing?
Nope, still see a Camaro hiding back there...

took a viper,gt-r, ferrari, c6 put it in a blender and got the c7...
IMO
Interior looks nuch better, but i'll be hanging on to the c6 longer than i thought i would have.

Pretend you've been looking at this in traffic for a year. Excited? I'm not. The girl in the photo is excited, but hey, it's a new Corvette! I'd like to see the black plastic done in body color (any photoshop volunteers?). Don't even get me started about the tail lights. Doesn't GM marketing do focus groups?

I cant say I hate the rear and the taillights but..... there was enough negativity about them before the reveal that makes me think they should have gone with a different design. As much as the cheerleaders want to say they don't resemble the Camaro's.... they kinda do.

A few nits but, in general I like the whole car. Based on my experience with C5s and C6s and how much dirt ends up on the rear of the car, I will say that rear end will be a challenge to clean. Plenty of seams and corners for dirt to accumulate. Professional detailers should love it as a money maker.
