Not a vw more like a FORD GT. Now that's a bad azz design

Truly, the C6 doesn't look anything like the C5 - that is if you just take the time to actually look at both of them, and get past the idea that they both have 4 wheels, long hoods, 2 doors, and glass backs.

If you study the lines of each car, you'll see that the C6 actually has lines.

As for the C7 - I don't hate it. I don't love it, but I don't hate it.

There are some strange features that I am going to have to get used to.

I think the C7 is the best looking vette since the chrome-bumpered C3.

Don't like the rear end? Will it sucks to be you because that's the angle you're gonna be seeing the most.

Horsepower is only one element in performance. This car will run circles around that LS7 Camaro in any event you want to match them up. Whatever the path to finish line, this Vette will get there first and the driver have time to grab a coke before the Camaro gets there. ...and there's an LT4 lurking around the corner? maybe?

Are you kidding me? Seriously?? The Camaro weighs several hundred pounds more than the C7. 3,750 pounds I think for the Camaro compared to 3100 or so for the base model C7.. That's nearly 20% more weight than the base model C7. Compared to less than 50 more HP.. Lets see, 20% more weight and 10% more HP using round numbers. If you think the Camaro 427 is going to have better performance than the C7, you are fooling yourself. You are also comparing a fairly exclusive and top of the line Camaro to the base model C7 Corvette.

The logic of some people defies reason. Seriously.

I see the vision they had for this car. I'm not dissatisfied.

No it's not except for 0-60 times. You don't have much of any evidence of any other performance metrics. This car would most likely pummel a C5Z on a road course.

I'm not saying better. The C7 is leaps and bounds better but I just wished GM would have give the car at least 500 hp like how they gave 400 hp to the base C6 when it came out after the C5Z. The new C7 will only be marginally faster or quicker compared to a C5Z, C6, Grandsport.

most (if not all) of the haters I've interacted with are stuck in the past...the same kind of folks who've hated every Vette since 1964 when the split window went bye-bye. Nothing will make them like anything that doesn't look like a C2. That said, I'm keeping my 2008, it'll become my DD when I add the C7 to my garage
