29 here. (Be 30 in June)
I learned to drive on my dad's C4, and bought my first Vette (C5Z) when I turned 26 as a birthday gift to myself. I've been so happy with C5Zs that I haven't bought any other type of Vette. I haven't seen any reason to trade up or buy a C6.
The C7 is the most amazing looking Corvette I've seen to date. And since I was raised with Corvettes and have always been a Corvette fan, that's saying a lot. I WILL be picking up a C7. I'm thinking about leasing the first year for 2 years and then buying it if I didn't have any issues with it, or buying the latest year after the lease is up.
We'll see how things go. If I get the C7 in December as I plan, I'll be selling my C5Z and picking up a SSR for a daily driver. (Gotta have an automatic and SSRs are badarse.)

28 owned a 2008 Z06 going on 3 years.
The front end looks nice. The rear is what's keeping me from falling in love.
I will wait until the performance models come out, and I see one in person to decide.
