The OFFICIAL Scale from 0 10 What Do You Think of the NEW C7? Thread

9 at least. Wish they could have saved the round taillights but the new ones fit into the design. Aluminum frame = no more trailer hitches. Didn't see a convertible version. Viper still looks several notches sexier.
Other than that, I don't think I'll be looking for discounts on C6s anymore. They fixed all the major complaints and kept the manual tranny, with rev match no less. If the vert is available at the same time as the koo-pay, it will likely be my next ride.

You guys are nuts...that car is STUNNING...then to roll out red with some black wheels...hell yes! Exposed carbon roof...ridiculous presence and stance. From angles that hood is going to look incredible. Drawings did that car NO justice. Moment it rolled out, I was like...SH*T...
Agreed! When it rolled out, wow! Score = 10. I want to spec mine like the red one they showed. Love the black wheels!

I should hold my thoughts until the initial spam of comments is over, but right now I really can't rate it. I'm a little disappointed in the taillights but kinda like the rear diffuser. I'm hoping to see it in person when the show opens to the public.

A 9.5! for sure...stunning design!
The red is beautiful. The accent... the design ...the fender flow..the front...the rear..the hood...the interior...the rev matching manual transmission...the entire car is stunning. i love how they changed the roof design and got rid of the traditional basket handle for the lift off roof. The rear window...excellent...the side vents NOT BEING CHROMED! love it..
The only thing I'm not sure I'd buy is all black wheels. I know its all the rage but if I could just get a polished lip on the those rims...I'd go that route...All black is hard to say I'd order it up that way.
Amazing that Z51 option code is back..
I am sure the vehicle is a performance monster compared to our already awesome performing c6 Z51's....
Mr. Marc Ruess, Mr Ed Welburn and Mr. Tadge (can't spell it) did a wonderful presentation and brought to us a wonderful new generation corvette!
Wow!

The leaked photos...4. Then I saw the red one...7. I suspect when I see it in person, it'll be higher. Kudos on the seats. Undecided about the rev matching. Cool I guess, but I hope you can turn it off as nothing beats the feeling of a perfect heel-toe rev match. The steering wheel has to go.
So far, not enough for me to return to Corvette, but I'm looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. Hope there will be a ZR1 version.

First initial gut reaction: 7-ish. From what I understand about the capabilities and my first real look at it just ~40 minutes ago.
As I learn more about the technology and performance that score may rise. I also often don't take to new designs immediately, so it may grow on me and that could also cause my score to increase. This has happened with me in the past, so the C7 might be no exception.
So far I think I will continue to be satisfied with my 2011 ZR1 and 2012 ZO6 for a while. Not as a slam on the C7, I just mean I don't feel the slightest urge to dump my C6's and rush into a C7... at least not as I type this.

I'll give it a 5 for now, not going out and buying one anytime soon. Maybe in acouple of years it will grow on me. When the C6 was introduced I could not wait to get my hands on one but I sure don't have that feeling about the C7.
