This looks better than any of the renderings we have seen, i think anyway. The proportions are probably the reason some of them were just too barn sized or too busy. The devil is obviously in the details and we will see that in a couple of days.

Too much lower black plastic, like the Chevy Avalanche truck. I'd prefer a bumper which is body color.

Wow. That just makes the C5, and even the base C6, look even more bland.

I sure hope that's not it. Looks cheap to me and fake. Not saying it won't be a cool looking car overall in the end. But that's just not a Corvette to me. If that is truly it, then the C6 rear end will offically be the best and I'll be keeping my C6 for a long long time. The base C6 kept the classic Corvette look and was very sharp and sleek. The Z06 IMHO was designed perfectly by again taking that classic Vette look but making it meaner and more aggressive. I think a lot of Corvette people feel the same way.

I can't see too many Corvette people trading up for that rear end and letting their C6s go.

One things for sure if that's correct, the wide body look is gone, as far as flared fenders go. I wonder how the Z and GS crowd will like it.

The bottom line is the renderings from the beginning look bad to me so I didn't like it. Get over it. Now, the rendering just posted does not look good to me. I specifically do not like the black part on the side of the light assembly, looks cheap, made out of cheap plastic. If it looks bad in person, I will keep my opinion of it. If it looks better I will change my mind. My issue is simple, the black part, for me at this point it is a deal breaker.

Of those that liked it from the beginning; you either have different taste then me or will have gotten lucky it changed. Either way, your opinion is just that, like mine, subjective.

Regardless, the car looks a million times better then a GT-R to me.

My Dad always said corvette guys are a bunch of nuts. Many of you have confirmed this hypothesis.
