I wouldn't have one to save my life...ugly and borrowed to much from foreigners..ricers and young will probably love...to each his own, one man's opinion...cheers and enjoy if you like it

I think they should name this thing the Corverro (look like a Camero rear ended a Corvette)
It's a shame, when you see the silver car in Transformers, I was thinking that would be the perfect C7.
This, well maybe it looks better in person, or the style grows with age.
I think C6 Grandsports will be worth more money after today!

FYI....its Camaro.

I think they shouldn't have gone the extra edge on the extra emo crying eyeshadow on the tail lights(to me its a very minor gripe), otherwise it is more exotic looking.
A little more Ferrari looking and IM glad GM can take a fricking risk. I can't believe those idiots didn't try to make a 4 cylinder turbo version or some stupidity like that.
GM's done some stupid stuff, but the C7 isn't one of them... Killing off Pontiac was one of them.(I am still amazed at how many G6's are on the road... holy crap)...
Killing the avalanche is a mistake also but gas is nuts so who knows... the truck costs an arm and a leg also.

It comes down to seeing it in person and test driving it. Then see if it is worth the money they are asking for this Corvette.
But those Camaro lights are ugly. The lights on a Mustang GT look alot finer plus they are LED and sequential.

The back of the car just doesn't have that "It's a Corvette", look to it. Maybe the 2015 model will go back to round taillights! I do like the lines of the rest of the car and think the car looks great. Creative design does require risk but the time put into the front and side views of the car missed the appeal view in the back. Maybe it is a marketing strategy where many will overlook the rear of the car for the better performance and front design and then future models will go back to round. The C4 had the ovalish squared tail lights that didn't look great but when the C5 came out they went back to round. Imagine a year or two from now if the rear end of the car had a makeover with round lights and a more appealing design. All of the current naysayers will changing their tune and saying, "got to have one now", and it will just add more buyers into the showrooms. It's a beautiful car that if offered to me I wouldn't pass up on just for the tail lights and like it was said, when you're driving it, it's the other drivers who will be looking at the taillights and not you. I'll look forward to test driving one in the near future and make my decision then.

Sorry. Just doesn't do it for me. The body is just too busy (like an 80s Toyota Celica) with all the folds, creases, and vents. The *** end looks like it's been grafted from a Camaro. It just doesn't have the smooth integrated lines of the C5 or C6. It looks boxy and boy racer crude compared to either of those Corvettes. I'll hold on to my C5, thanks.
The interior design is awkward. Is that a grab handle by the center stack? Looks like my C5 is here to stay for a while.

Really
Your out of your mind............ The C7 Camaro's rear is a cheap looking piece of a wait, a Camaro..... A company with deeeeeeeeeep pockets like G TO THE M..... could not get a better rear end for a newly built America's sports car........... Sorry C6's are not ugly. Im keeping mine until this nightmare of a rear end C7 goes away. Or I grow to love it...................................... ................:ack ::ack ::ack ::ack ::ack ::ack : well maybe Ill get one........

I love my 12 GS and glad I got it because as some have speculated they may be worth a little more now. Of course not everyone will like everything but it looks like an infinity/350-370 nissan with a camaro in the back to me with no true identity of its own. Its not to my taste but I'm sure they will sell them.

Sorry add me to the list of people that hate the camaro tailights.
But maybe someone will come out with afermarket fix for that .Rest of the car looks not bad for some reason the black over the back wheel intakes look kind of weird and the black side front gills and never been a fan of black wheels. The red car for some reason looks to me kind of a like a Corvette GTR bastard child. But the silver one looked better to me.
It of course has better interior than current car but really I have not much complaint with my 3LZ interior and really you don't spend much time starting at your interior when you are driving you watch the HUD . I have an expensive Mercedes with world class interior but as said most of the time you don't stare at it when driving. But it don't scratch that easy or squeak or rattle much which is a good thing. Just like seats the new c7 seats are big improvement but I don't track my z06 so the current seats are fine . Maybe the c7 seats will bolt right in?
Electronics are also nice the c6 nav in my 2008 is a POS, the stereo is not too bad , the HUD and instrument panel are not bad. The c7 steps up all this stuff which is fine. You have vvt and direct injection both good things and not sure if like the cylinder cutout thought that feature is noticeable sometimes? Never had a car with it don't think.
Anyway lots to like about the new c7 and will look forward to taking one for test drive. I can't see buying a base c7 but might jump over to a z06 or zr1 version maybe a few years after they come out. As some said I sit in the car most of the time don't stare at the back of it so the tailights aren't the end of the world to me, but aftermarket options could sell.

As an employee of GM's Design staff, I've been looking at this car for some time now.
It is incredibly exciting to have it finally out! There will always be skeptics making bold proclamations, we have the right.
A new design should have "reach", a certain level of risk and a high degree of freshness. This may offend some, but it will ultimately dig in and get a hold of your heart strings.
I think the C7 has a perfect balance of aggression, sophistication and exotic appeal. Judge all you want based on this first wave of press shots, but walking around it, sitting in it and experiencing the new cluster features should leave all impressed. Oh yeah, and it'll scoot better than today's car.
I'm very proud of the team that put this together, their dedication to expressive design, quality, serious performance and purposefulness has yielded not only the best Vette yet, but a sports car that rivals the best in the world on every level. Kudos!
