I'll be at the IMS motorcycle show, so I wont be able to see it live anyways...
I'm thinking there may be some videos, and pics posted here for me to check out when I get home.

I put the thread up, man, that they announced yesterday that it would be streamed on the Facebook page. They HAVE NOT announced that it would also be streamed at the http://www.chevrolet.com/one13thirteen.html
webpage.
webpage.

It is the job of the people that maintain the Facebook page to direct people to, you guessed it, the Facebook Page. If you are on FB, it will be there. Not everyone is on Facebook and posting on Facebook that the reveal will be simulcast elsewhere really wouldn't benefit those that are not on Facebook.
It will be streamed on the one13thirteen launch site (which is the secondary reason for creating the launch site in the first place, to cover the launch).
In my last post in the other thread I noted that it would be simulcast at 7:00pm Eastern Time. You questioned that and sure enough it was publicly announced yesterday that is when it would be.

You obviously don't know me or my reputation by this response that you've posted. I have never set out to intentionally mislead anyone about anything on this site. Just because you don't know something doesn't mean it isn't true. You will come to find that I rarely cite my sources, I generally have no reason to. I post information as I can and people can take it or leave it, that's up to you. I received it in a email a few weeks ago.

"In honor of jpee"
Gotta laff. If you look at Mark (FaceBook), Sergey (Google), not to mention the late Steve (at that fruit), etc., you can easily recognize when things are purposely omitted, or seriously attempted to be misleading.
And no, these are not my buddies; I just choose to use their first names. I will (now) be watching that special website (non-FaceBook, since I'm one of those NOT on FaceBook) on Sunday if I can get to it from where I am.
Thanks Paul.

Pauls posts are the only thing I know for sure that aren't speculative BS in the C7 section. He knows his stuff, that you can bet on.

From: Chevrolet
To all Corvette Owners & Enthusiasts:
1-13-13 is almost here!!!
This Sunday, January 13, 2013, the next chapter in Corvette’s long history will be written with the unveiling of the 2014 Corvette.
The unveiling is schedule to occur at 7 PM, Eastern Standard Time, in an undisclosed location in Detroit. The location limits the number of people who will be able to attend the event, but that does not preclude anyone from viewing the event live.
The unveiling of the 2014 Corvette will be “live streamed” through various websites including Chevrolet’s one13thirteen.com site and the Corvette Facebook page. People interested in viewing the webcast are encouraged to “tune-in” by 6:55 PM, Eastern Standard Time, as the webcast will start promptly at the top of the hour.

I sincerely hope that is true. Otherwise come 1-13-13 at 7:00 PM EST there are going to be some people not able to see it because they are not Facebook members. That is my ONLY concern.

I have total faith that Paul knows what he's talking about.

In any event, It wasn't yesterday and it wasn't in the thread you started. It was in Randy's thread about the reveal here:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c7-g...13-reveal.html
Post #39. I was answering the question that he asked. After that, I got side tracked picking on Mikey and the thread eventually fell to the bottom of the page. Like I said, I post what I can, when I can, I rarely cite my sources. Folks generally take it or leave it. I have nothing to prove and nothing to gain. I'm here to help people that need it. I posted and I figured you would find it out for yourself in the upcoming days either way.
