Would you like color matching dash / door panels on C7 ?
Would you like to see color matching dash and door panels on the new C7 ? .. Or would you like them to stick with the black top on the dash and door panels?
I like some of the interiors with the color matching dash top and door panels to match the leather seats and the rest of the interior. The 50th Anniv. Vette looked good with the matching dash and door panels.

Some sort of customizing/color matching yeah, but it's impossible to say until you see each component of the interior. The 04-06 GTO is where they should look for inspiration, maybe a bit more cleaned up.

I'd like GM to return to what they did with interiors in the 1960's. For example, order a RED interior and get EVERYTHING in red, including the dash and carpet! Today's Porsche has that option, and yes, you must pay extra for it but so what.

Yep, that would be cool.
I'd like to see a new white on white Vette. White leather, white door panels, white trim, and white dash. I guess it would look kind of like the 35th Anniv. but i think the 35th had black dash.

I have to see the interior in person, or at least full-color glossies, before I can really pass judgement on color combinations. Personally, I like bringing a little bit of the exterior paint inside the car, but not every design lends itself to that. C6 did, mostly because GM saw fit to include large satin-silver painted accents. I have a feeling C7 won't be so paint-compatible, but it's too soon to tell.

I like accents but I don't like it when it takes over the inside. For example, when the lower half of the door is the same color.
However, if you get any color that is bright, it takes the classy look of the interior and makes it a sport racer. I would have to see it to really decide but it is really easy to over do it.

For unbelievable fun in this area, I highly recommend visiting the maserati.com site and using their Car Configurator link (tiny text in the top command bar).
Pick a model, switch to interior view, and then move through the options in tiny text at the top. Hours of fun. Adjust separate colors and materials for seats, trim, dash, steering wheel, carpet, stitching, headliner, even seatbelts!
This is not meant to be a direct comparison with what would be practical for a Corvette. There is a tiny difference in pricing and production volume. I'm just saying that it's a hell of a way to waste some time and see what is possible when you decide to give customers full custom control and money be damned.

Look at c1's and C 2's etc. before Chevrolet got cheap and made all interiors black with some color trim. Oh yes and color seats. Look at the interior of a new Malibu much nicer then "some" late model Corvettes. GM got the word, if you want to compete in a world class market, you have to build a world class car. Not all of the buyers care about ET's and MPH..

Gotta get back to the white interior! My red Corvair (that I had for less than 24 hrs) had a great white interior and I really liked it.

Be careful what you ask for. Porsche owners have suffered for years with windshield reflected glare on sunny days from their tan interiors , which were all one color including the dashtop. So now they finally have a dual tone option so that you can get dark dash with tan interior, but being Porsche , you have to pay extra thousands for that option.

I have not found this to be true on my cars. None but my Corvette have black dashes, I remember one car I had a 65 coupe was black with red interior. The dash was red to the windshield and the door panels where red right to the window. That car was amazing looking. A person would really noticed the red trim against the black body. Very cool.
