Here you go. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c7-g...more-info.html
I think I have them reversed. Front and back should be changed to be accurate.

Just looked up 235-25-20 on TireRack.com. There isn't a single tire available in that size. Would they really create a brand new size combination that offers no existing choices?
However there IS a P335/25ZR20 made by Michelin. This seems more probable and means Keeks' original size postings of front/rear make more sense if it was just a typo on the first digit. Then we don't have to swap the front/rear sizes from what he says he saw.
In other words, if Keeks is right, we are looking at Michelin Run Flat Pilot Sports with P285/30ZR19 frt, P335/25ZR20 rear.
I say Michelin because that's what is already available in Run Flat at the given size.

Those are the exact sizes for the C6 ZR1, for what it's worth. 10mm wider front and back vs. the C6 Z06 & GS, and 40mm front / 50mm rear wider than the C6 coupe. That's a big jump in size for the base model. I wonder if the sizes Keeks came across are for the C7 Z06 and/or ZR1?

So, I have likely mangled the message somehow.

235/30/19 and 285/25/20 would be great for the base c7..
More is not always better and the slightly larger diameter keeps it contemporary.
The fact that the car should drop about 7 to 10 percent in weight is even more to the reasoning

If so, that would put the front tire around 24.6" overall. A 285/20/20 (TINY TIRE BTW.. Less than an inch of sidewall) would also put it in the 24" overall range as well.
The C6, if I remember correctly, are in the 26" in range, including those ZR1 sizes.
I can understand a 235mm front to improve steering sensitivity (faster turning tire) but I just don't see it with a 24" overall since it would be change from what we are already used to. But given how new and improved this new car will be, a smaller tire is also a lighter tire. So we'll just have to wait and see.
It may sound a bit far fetched but we could very well get these:
F: P285/30ZR19
R: P335/25ZR20
I personally don't like running a 20" tire in the rear but so be it.

C6 rears are ~26.7"
To maintian those diameters it would require the C7 base to have
Fronts of 235/35ZR19(25.5")
rears of 285/30ZR20 (26.7")
For an hi-po model it would then require
Fronts of 285/30ZR19(25.7")
rears of 335/25ZR20(26.6")

Unless GM is just going ***** to the wall crazy on the wheel tire combo -- I don't see how the base car would be rolling with a 20" rear tire that's Z06 size.
Keep in mind this is the base car they have to save room for some upgrades down the line. Not only that but let's keep in mind this car was designed to sell for what? 55k? Requiring a base car to have tires that are Viper ACR quality and size just make no sense to me.
I like a big sexy deep dish wheel on high end models (z06/zr1) but having clown shoe sized wheels on a base model from the factory just sounds a bit off to me.
