Burning Brakes
The GM Corvette Assembly Plant just released statistics on 2011 Corvettes produced. A total of 13,596 were manufactured. What colors do you think were most popular?
Number of cars produced for each color were:
1) Black (2,891)
2) Torch Red (2,264)
3) Crystal Red (1,419)
4) Supersonic Blue (1,417)
5) Cyber Gray (1,197)
6) Arctic White (1,133)
7) Blade Silver (1,037)
8) Velocity Yellow (867)
9) Inferno Orange (790)
10) Jetstream Blue (581)
So Black it is

Both reds combined are 3683. Yellow shows the racing connection. Silver hides fingerprints and other media slobber the best. Blue gives a lot of the benefits of black, without much of the headache. White looks clean, but can lose some of the details...
So, my guess is red.

If they show only one C7, here is my thinking. New cars are never intoduced in lump of coal black, as it must photograph well for worldwide press shots . Red is ruled out in this case as they are trying to highlight its most distinctive new feature, the next generation rear lights , whether one likes them or not ... that is the money shot identifying iconic C7 feature for the unwashed masses. Yellow will make the car too jelly beany and is too polarizing a premier color. White makes cars look bigger , against their stated desire to produce a visually more tailored, sleek, tightened up next gen Corevtte. I expect it to be silvery , which captures the lines and curves on any vehicle the best, as any instructor will tell you on the first day of design school.

I can still picture of the first red 1997 corvette I saw at the autoshow...
It was stunning ..
I think chevy should show three corvettes. One white, one red and one blue.
