the look of rear end is obvious. Why is there still so much speculation
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/albu...0&ref=gnr-next
Look at the three triagles by the rear light and how the two lines by the lights follow throughto the licence plate side on the link above...
Now compare to this pic
http://www.caranddriver.com/photos-1...7-photo-484877
Compare the top shape of the bumper to where the spoiler goes again exactly the same.
Look at the exhaust and the brake vent opening on this website
http://www.corvettenewsblog.com/tag/c7-corvette/
Again exactly the same
Now look at the side window opening on this corvette video 46-47 second again exactly the same

Please tell me this was posted in another section of the forum.... We've only talked about this 1000x in the C7 section.

I know but i just dont get which part of this still unclear. Why are ppl still unsure about how the rear is going to look ??? Car and driver got it right to the last detail and it looks freakin amazing.
If i can get anywhere close to 50k for my z i would trade it in in a heart beat to get this thing. Forget the base, the z is already look so outdated before the new one even came out

I notice you edited your original post to remove the claim that it's all official. Which is good, because it's not. And that's exactly why there's still some speculation and reservation of judgement.
Accept it and move on.

There has got to be a medical condition as regards this fixation with the tail lights.

Yeah, I AM expecting to be somewhat surprised by the actual car and the rear end especially. I have always maintained that we will be surprised by the real proportions/details/etc. vs renderings. Even real photos lose something in the translation.

I think we all will be impressed. We have the general outline but are missing the finishing touches. Just look at the recent Jalopnik brake/front end manual depiction. No one has depicted the details that that picture shows in any rendering.

What we've seen so far are the automotive equivalent of celebrity mugshots, fan art, and amateur set photos.
Wait until we see the Vogue and Maxim spreads and the final blockbuster trailer.

Yes... problem with all the other renderings is that they look flat, this has some shape to it.

I guarantee he is watching from the sidelines...I'm guessing he has said his piece and is waiting for the bets to be paid.
