That's a stupid *** poll...
How could one really choose ONE of those. I think the car is "powerful", but the current ZR1 is certainly more powerful!? I think it could set a record for "the best vette for the money" ever sold. Once again though, the current ZR1 will best it. It feels very responsive, maybe more so than any Corvette to date.
Dumb facebook crap...

I put almost zero stock into the C7 on GT5.
Driving a real Vette (or any car) and driving one on the game are nowhere near similar whatsoever.

The Chevy engineers worked with them to make it as realistic as possible. Apparently existing cars perform pretty much the same on the game as in real life, as I understand it. I am not a gamer nor do I know any.

Dude, I get plenty from it...I've used this game for years to keep sharp through the winter months when I'm not road racing for real. It keeps my hands fast, keeps my throttle control up, etc. I have a full cockpit, etc. I've done GT5 comparisons for years vs real world results like so
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9wuX...=results_video
I've driven the new car on the game to a great extent. I'm just saying, that series of words...I can't CHOOSE one of those words.
Will it break RECORDS...no, it's not being designed to do so. Maybe the ZR1 version will, but not the base model
Is it "Exhilerating"...I guess, I mean I'm pumped about the new Corvette...but the game doesn't really offer you the ability to experience that adjective
Is it powerful...yeah, more so than a base Camaro, but it's slower than the C6ZR1 and countless other cars. For a base model...yes, it's powerful.
Is it Responsive...yes, definitely, more so than the prior C6's are.
I assume the word responsive is mostly what caught my attention. The car feels more balanced, very responsive, very good turn in, much less push, etc.

There's nothing "game" about gran turismo...my split screen I posted proves that. It's a pretty valid representation.

I always like to put the haters in my cockpit and watch them wreck...haha. They all think running 7:20's in a stock ZR1 is easy until they try. They don't even make it 1 minute in and just get up and quit...lol.

Hahaha...exactly. all my friends are older than I am...I'm 37. I school all my friends in GT5.

I agree with the "Not just a game anymore" I drive countless hours on the tracks with hundreds of different cars, and feel the different handling and power each one has to offer.
The C7 certainly feels very different and sticks to the track very well, it gives you a confident feeling as it powers through curves. Balanced is a good term to use.
I've been thinking wistfully about installing one of my C5 seats and making a simulator like the one above, having seen them with shocks that work and tilting back and forth to make your mind think you are actually feeling the acceleration and braking. Sebastian Vettle and other Professionals use the GT5 game to practice tracks and skills. AWESOME to say the least.

It's not a game, it's a simulator. Plenty of professional drivers use it to stay sharp. COuple that with driving seats and steering wheels that provide feedback and you have your hands full with this simulator. Compare it to any of the Need for Speed games and you will see the difference between a game and a driving simulator. I haven't touched GT5 in almost a year I've been messing around with F1 sporadically. I will probably mess with it during the holidays.
