Default The C5 Forum comes hither...

It's the Pontiac clones arriving en masse to pu-pu the supposed Camaro clone!

It's gotten tiring and boring to see people come to the C7 section and whine about the taillights. Dont like it? Don't buy it. I'm sure this well sell a lot more than the C6 and I know I'm getting one as my first corvette.
I bet a lot of the complainers would have been perfectly happy with it had the fifth generation Camaro not debuted with squared lights.

Only a view from directly behind the C7 will demonstrate how cool the tapered hatch window will look in conjunction with the other design elements. Too bad we don't have that view

We've been looking over the C&D article and pictures of the new C7 here at the shop for the past few days. We can't believe what we are looking at. A gorgeous car ruined.

"Is that the new GTR?", "Wow that's ugly!", "It's like they mated a GTR and a Camero", "That's not really what they plan on putting out, is it?"

I'm admiring the C6 a lot more now.

Sorry, but... The C5 is ugliest vette they've made, especially the C5Z models. To me, they look like a combination of the C3 and the C4.

While I can't imagine disliking the C7 in person given the hints provided by the renderings, I do think it's bound to be an improvement over the C6 base which has become too plain.

Don't get me wrong. All Corvettes are in their own league of sexy. But... I don't use a rotary phone, I don't use an acoustic coupler for my computer, and I don't think there's anything wrong with the direction they've taken with the new model.

Once it's finally revealed, I'll know if I'm going for the AW C6 ZR1 or the C7. If the C7 is hot, the only gray area in my mind will be if I can hold out for the C7 high performance models before breaking the budget. Cheers!
