I may have missed it but you guys all realize the 70-73 camaros had virtually identical tailights to the corvette right??????
So there is historical precedent for this sisterly similarity.
I will understand if people dislike the tailights because that is their opinion.
But it is a spurious argument if the panties get bunched if it because of camaro contamination.

First and foremost, I think they are just plain ugly. I do not like the Camaro ones either, and haven't since the new generation came out, long before the C7 renderings surfaced.
Secondly, if GM is going for family resemblance, the Corvette should lead, not follow. Corvettes had 4 taillights (round, even) starting in 1961 - long before GM ever thought of copying the Mustang's success by introducing the Camaro in 1967 - which didn't have Corvette clone taillights then either......
I don't like the proposed style, and I don't like it that Corvette is no longer the flagship car of the Chevy line - at least in taillights.........

70 -73 Camaro lights pulled from Corvette
14 - ? Corvette lights pulled from Camaro
Not really interested in it. BUT, I must see it in person to make a true judgement.

You can see in the creases thats the Jalopnic rear light pic. Matter of fact I will bet the round taillight lovers the main lights won't be round but what we have been seeing in the "drawings". Ill even put up cash via paypal.

No, those two little sensor looking things on either side near the bottom of the rear fascia.

Igniters for the afterburners.
Don't know but I kept hearing they were spigots for easily draining the gas so they would have specific gas chemistry during testing. If you go back and look at some of the high altitude testing spy shots there was a truck with what look like a series of gas tanks in the bed.
