I still think there are some surprises left. I am eager to see the interior. As for the Nissan crack I think it looks more like a Ferrari. It is just attitude if you are a positive person or a negative person when it comes to Corvette.

No. the pic is about 2-3 months old. Its computer generated and just plain wrong. I can tell you for a fact.that the sail panels taper more towards the center and they are not flat at the top edge. They curve more to a point more than they flatten out to a plateau.

how close do you think the rear end / tail lights may be to the real thing ?

The bumper is close, from the bottom edge of the tail lights down. The taillights are off although the bezel shape is fairly acurate. The deck lid and sail pannels are off by quite a bit.

Check out the CAD renderings keeks posted. Those are the real deal, but the angel they're from doesn't give a Azz end view. Mikeg37 Made some tweaks to this pi and the C&D pics that are a lot closer to the real deal IMHO. Check my thread on flaw in the renderings for some of those.

good...I hope not....for it looks as if it's lost somewhere between a Caddy CTS-V and a Camaro !

Just received my January issue of Car & Driver. C7 is on the cover and a four page write up. If this is it, it has Camaro taillights. I will hold any futher comment about the design. To each his own.

Based on the concept images that are floating around, how are they going to make a convertible out of these? And for the FRC c7, how is the rear hatch going to open? Based on these questions, I have a hard time believing some of the pics that are floating around.

there's pics of camo'd verts running around, so they figured it out...

We'll see just how well when the time comes.

Can't wait for the cars to be exposed for all to see.

Tired of thinking !

You are an above average Vette Nut... We all are wondering how well GM has done hiding the final product. What will really be interesting, and something they can hide, is the new technology including many features we had no idea where in the mix. I am ready.

I'm really disappointed that there are no longer round tail lights. To me, it’s like leaving the Corvette badge of the car.

I know the details are lost in C&D's renderings with their most recent publication, but still there are a few things I'm praying aren't on the real C7. I can't stand how square the rear window is and don't get me started on the horrendous front fender vent treatment...ugh, it's terrible just, please if anything don't let it be so mismatched from the overall lines of the car.

Also to be honest, I don't mind if the tails are something other than round, just don't let it be a parts bin snag off the Camaro.
