here is a side comparison.
I lined up the rims on the front. (If they are the same size?)
I let the wheelbase be slightly longer.
The angles are pretty close but not dead on so there may be some optical issues.
Could the front possibly be higher?

Interesting that this detail runs thru to the tail end on the Concept. WilL we see the same on the C7?

Crabby you nailed it !! The original concept is where the double line originated.
Let me share something with you that you brought to my attention: Now this is a real stretch----- I wonder if they did something novel with the rear hatch glass to create a " split window " look. Something may be up with that!!

" Code is cracked - The Stingray is here !
Keeks opened the door . They never let go of the Stingray theme ! CSixDude showed us the Stingray shaped steering wheel ( P.Christian pointed out the shape )in the Camo car and the Camaro ZL 1 is "borrowing" that steering wheel. The tail lights are not "angry birds" they are the eyes of a Stingray! The rear fascia is the tip of the tail of the Stingray. The shark teeth grill is fish oriented.... The body panels are way more swoopy than a C6 and more C3 / Mako Shark.
Recently they had a big interview with Ed Welburn in the famous room where no one is allowed in the GM design center and the original Stingray was the topic of conversation and how Bill Mitchell was obsessed with that car!
It is all about the Stingray!
Look at the Omega pic of the front fascia from the bottom up . It's the Stingray!"

And, if you look real close, that double line on the Stingray Concept is not flat but at a slight angle (see the top of the headlight).
Or it may start flat near the windshield then slowly roll over to a slight angle at the Head light!

John, if I suddently don't hear from you on this forum, I will assume GM sent out a few bounty hunters for you

Hey Firstvette , I just want to clarify my remark about the raised " belt line" . First, the Automobile Mag pics of the car in NM , where it appears the camo is falling off the rear of the car, it shows a minimal amount of overhang on the rear. Possibly 3 inches less than the C6 but that is made back up with the bulge in the center of the rear fascia. I think with that detail the C7 will appear to look smaller.
Also, it is possible they raised the height of the rear fenders to give the greenhouse more of a "chopped" look. Maybe not a higher belt line.
As for the front, I believe the overhang to be slightly longer in typical "Ferrari style".

Also -- Crabby and Firstvette, When Crabby showed us the origins of the "double line" I noticed we may get a steeper valley between the raised rear fender and the hatch, more like the concept and similar to what we are seeing with the front fenders down to the hood.

MikeG37, can you work some magic with a new modification to the trinty rendering to incorporate this design aspect...could be an interesting twist....

I agree with what is said above. Nuances.
The rear may be similar the front fender and deck sweep.
just seeing the rise in the center like these:

I was thinking that if they did dip the fenders on top, they may just straddle the spoiler over the recesses on the ends like an air tunnel... Always thought that could be cool if done correctly.
The middle pic shows the dip on the ends and the rise in the middle.
The bottom is the spoiler idea. This would lend a sort of double spoiler since the top of the body could be designed as a spoiler and the top as a wing?
Sort of a Bi Wing!
Not rendered very well but hope you get the idea.

maybe for the z car:
But I'd rather see the air directed under the spoiler in a tunnel effect without the big wing.
