Detroit Auto Show
How many of you are planning on going to the Detroit auto show in January to see the new C7?
I am thinking about going and am wondering if it is worth it. Tickets seem to be pretty damn cheap, 12 dollars on the website. Just curious if the show is cheap for a reason or if it is always a good time.

I can remember having to go there in the wee hours to pick up grapes from Chile. In the winter the drug ****** would stand around fires built in old 55 gal drums to stay warm. Some of them half naked.

I would not be afraid of the downtown Detroit area as far as crime goes. It's not a very big downtown as far as a big city goes. I would not worry too much.

I can tell you when we went to see the new camaro, it was way better looking in person, and of course we had seen pics before.

I think it would have been smart for GM to introduce the C7 on November 30 at the LA auto show, and then show it again at the Detroit show. After all, So.Cal is the car capital of the world, and more Corvettes are sold in So. Cal. from more Chevy dealers than anywhere else. Just a thought.
