Ok, I get it. Everybody talking about spy pics, renderings, blah, blah.
How is this dude going to run. Will it sound as good as a 2011 or later Z06?
What size engine?
HP?
Mid range?
All the things that set the Vette apart of a 911, GTR, and all the rest.
Will it still be a beast? Improve the interior?
When we know something about these factors.

The reason there's so much discussion about appearance is the existence of some information upon which to base discussion, i.e. spy shots and the dealer peek, and before that, credible renderings.

We haven't learned a single significant fact about the engine in many months, and we've speculated every which way we can on those old scraps. If you're interested in discussion about the powertrain, there are literally dozens of existing threads you can read through. Enjoy.

My Vette is not a dude. LOL My Vette is a curvy, slender, big butted beauty with poise and grace while getting every guy to turn their heads to look at her. She's an attention ***** and she loves to get dirty and shower in front of everyone.

All the speculation is fine so long as we realize it's just a SWAG. What's wrong with spy photos....it's the actual car that will be unveiled. There are things that can be determined from a spy shot. I rather think GM loves all the buzz about a soon to be released model. I'm highly disappointed the GM is ending production of the 427 engine and downsizing the Corvette engine. Government and not consumer demand (or lack thereof) is forcing the demise of high performance 'muscle' cars as we know them. I'm sorry but I don't want a 4-cylinder turbocharged Corvette hybrid....and trust me, that's what it will come to. Until the C7 is publicly revealed I say bring-on the spy shots and let the speculation run wild.

Corvette rebounded from the mid 70's... I am sure we will be generating 500 600 700hp+ in the future while achieving 78MPG (i.e. porsche 918 concept). Yeah, I know it is expensive, but technology will improve and prices will level out. Performance cars will live on with better MPGs. Have faith.
