The side cove looks a bit better than some of the other renderings.
Don't like how the front splitter looks like it's a foot off the ground.

Interesting that it is in black so the lines aren't so noticeable!! I will get used to that if it is pretty close to the real car! Don't think I will ever like the rear if it looks like the renderings so far!! Love to see it coming, hate to see it leave!!

I wish them luck as I am a Corvette / GM guy, but it's just not me. I'll stick to my 69 L-68 convertible.

Looks great. You guys can keep driving your C6's with tacky chrome wheels and I will take one of these even if you say they are "rice." It shares similarities with a Ferrari which is so rice as we know.

As a Daily Driver, my Grand Sport is a bit rough on the splitter on about half the driveways I need to use. Since adjustable ride height is probably never coming to the Corvette, I wouldn't mind having something a 'bit' higher off the ground for daily use.

With the ugly asymmetric properties of the Jalopnik drawing gone (those were likely due to artist imperfections), it at least looks like a car that GM would believably have backed. I wouldn't be ashamed to call that a Corvette, but I still think it doesn't pop like the Stingray Concept did. Yes, that Corvette had some aesthetic problems, but it was bold and original, while this one is very obviously safe and derivative. I'd buy one, but I wouldn't preferentially select this over a current C6 on appearance alone.

Watch Barrett Jackson, 5 year old Jags, Ferraris, etc. fetch nothing money, and older Nissan sports cars are not even for sale because there is no interest in them.
Then watch when a 66 thru 69 Vette convertible pops up on the screen, a 427 that rumbles, and the money that is still thrown at them. They just say, Bad *** American Muscle. Just my opinion.

This car is way too feminine looking...no muscle or aggression in its design whatsoever. And those chrome side coves are horrendous. This trinity animation better not be an accurate representation of what the actual C7 will look like.
Lets put this Trinity animation to bed please...at best, it is just a VERY bad representation of the Jalopnik Drawings.

Oh gawd, look at this thing. So sleek and euro looking compared to anything American! Where is the '63 American muscle look like the GTO or the Plymouth 426 Wedge? What's with that big humpy back?
And it isn't high enough!

Hopefully! I'm tired of dragging/bumping the front end bottom of my GS on every wrinkle in the road, let alone every speed bump.
Also, liking the new rendering. But, please God let there be an integrated rear spoiler. And, an aggressive front end view. Make it look like a Vette should look from 50'. Liking the roof lines more and more. I think the rear in 3D view will be a knockout. Round tailights? They would look out of place with ths design. I won't miss them.
I can't wait to hear the HP/Torq#s. Proably shed about 100lbs.
The C7 will be a worthy successor to the great C6.

I think this is definitely the best looking render yet, though I agree the black on black makes the lines a bit hard to read. I have never seen such a bunch of haters, though.
Am I in the minority thinking the stingray concept looks a bit silly? Maybe so. I feel it is trying way too hard to be futuristic with it's overly complicated curves.
I am all for a bigger style change, but cripes, there are images showing non-round tail lights and people are going ape. Talk about mixed messages (and no, I don't particularly care for depicted taillights, I never even liked the oval ones on the C5, but just pointing out they are sort of screwed either way).
